Iran inflation hits 46.3% in year to February

TEHRAN – Iran’s annual consumer price inflation rate stood at 46.3 percent in the 12 months ending in February 19, 2026, the Central Bank of Iran said.

The consumer price index (CPI) for urban areas reached 558.1 in the month of Bahman 1404, up 8.4 percent compared with the previous month, according to the central bank’s latest data.

On a year-on-year basis, the index rose 62.2 percent compared with the same month last year.
